Company History

Lahyt.com launched in April 2009 in Atlanta, GA when Jacques Polanco was told by photographer friends that he should get back into photography; after moving from New York City in June of 2008. He quickly noticed that there were hundreds of great photographers in Atlanta, but the process of receiving pictures and booking appointments was strenuous. After shooting several portraits, clients would always say, "I look like a model." So why not create a system that is safe, efficient, and can make a model out of anyone with the surrounding of a loft. Along on the journey are photographers, Richard Dorval who uses his Film Degree from Full Sail University to provide film-like quality to his photographs; and Aisha Boyd a graduate from the local university, Clark Atlanta University, who uses her passion for adventure and charitable-heart to create memories of a lifetime.

Atlanta + New York Photographer Jacques Polanco brings the highest level of professional talent to every photograph, as he works under The Lahyt Company based in Downtown Atlanta, which houses several photographers. At The Lahyt Company, we arrange photography sessions for editorial, high fashion, and commercial photographs. The Lahyt Company, whose motto is "LIGHT TO CREATE ART," is a dynamic and creative independent production firm dedicated to the excellence of media production. We specialize in Photography, Film and Print. The scope of our company’s work includes portraits, editorial, commercial photography, multimedia and film production.

Rich Dorval - Atlanta & Florida
Throughout Dorval’s career, he has produced significant works, which combine a visceral immediacy with conceptual richness. R.Dorval has designed over sixty artist projects, produced and directed over 6 short films, and photographed countless amount of entertainment conceptual compositions. His working methods have been highly creative and divergent.

Aisha Boyd - Atlanta
Photography for me is all about capturing the essence of the something. Whether it be a person, place, or object. I love the ability of the medium to transport you to another place entirely…whether at the side of your true love or to a magnificent festival half way around the world. There are many who remember their first camera or the first time they took a picture.
